BARROW DAY TOUR
Ex Anchorage £415 per person Ex Fairbanks £275 per person Departs daily May 13-Sep 15 Depart from Anchorage or Fairbanks on Alaskan Airlines to Barrow which is the northernmost point in Alaska and is 330 miles north of the Arctic Circle. Here you will find Alaska's largest Eskimo village. See snowy owls, eider ducks and various other species of birds. You will have a chance to touch the Arctic Ocean, walk on the tundra and permafrost. Witness the rich culture of Alaska's Eskimo people including their native dances and historical exhibitions.
NB A pre and post night in Anchorage is required on the ex Anchorage tour.
BEAR VIEWING AT KATMAI NATIONAL PARK FROM ANCHORAGE
A chance to see the brown bears at Katmai National Park which is reached by air and floatplane via King Salmon or Kulik Lodge. Choose from the following tours for one of the most memorable experiences you will have in your lifetime.
TWO NIGHT KATMAI NATIONAL PARK
£879 per person (Jun 01-29 and Aug 01-Sep 16) £912 per person (Jun 30-Jul 31) Departs daily Jun 01-Sep 16 Day 1 Make your own way from your hotel to Anchorage airport for your flight to Brooks Falls, via King Salmon or Kulik Lodge. On arrival meet with the park service staff for a briefing orientation. Rest of the day at leisure for independent bearviewing. Overnight Brooks Lodge. Day 2 A full day for bearviewing. There are two bear viewing platforms in Katmai National Park where you can see the bears as they eat and play. Park rangers are at hand for your safety and to answer any questions. Overnight Brooks Lodge. Day 3 Spend your final morning in the park before your afternoon flight back to Anchorage.
NB Accommodation is cabin style at Brooks Lodge with two sets of bunk beds, a sink, toilet and shower. Passengers are not allowed to take food into Brooks Falls. Breakfast, lunch, dinner is available at Brooks Lodge which is payable locally. A pre and post night in Anchorage is recommended when booking the Katmai National Park overnight excursions. Single supplements apply. Please call for details. All excursions are subject to weather conditions.
DAY TOUR TO KATMAI NATIONAL PARK
£369 per person Departs daily Jun 10-Sep 18 A full day bearviewing at Katmai National Park. This day trip includes an early departure from Anchorage to Brooks Falls, a briefing orientation by the park service staff and then the rest of the day is yours just for bearviewing. Return back to Anchorage late evening.
KENAI FJORDS NATIONAL PARK FROM ANCHORAGE
£158 per adult £81 per child (2-11 years) Departs daily May 18-Sep 10 Travel by train from Anchorage to Seward and depart on a six hour boat cruise including lunch in Kenai Fjords National Park, famous for its rich marine wildlife, beautiful fjord coastal landscapes and glaciers. Return to Anchorage by coach.
ONE NIGHT KATMAI NATIONAL PARK TOUR
£659 per person (Jun 01-30 and Aug 01-Sep 17) £687 per person (Jul 01-31) Departs daily Jun 01-Sep 17 A one night tour is available for those with less time. Itinerary as per two night tour, but depart Brooks Falls on Day 2.
