Day 1: Arrive Jackson, Wyoming On arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner to meet your fellow travellers. (D) Overnight: Deluxe Hotel, Jackson/Teton Village Day 2: Grand Teton National Park Explore the stunning Teton mountain range and discover majestic Jenny Lake, the rustic Church of the Transfiguration and the National Museum of Wildlife Art. (BLD) Day 3: Yellowstone National Park Enjoy a full day exploring the breathtaking Yellowstone National Park before boarding the train for dinner and to overnight. (BLD) Overnight: Onboard Train Day 4: Helena, Montana Experience Montanas rich history and scenery in the state
capital of Helena. Explore the Historical Society Museum, the capitol building or choose to visit Holter Lake. (BLD) Day 5: Glacier National Park Discover the beauty of Glacier National Park as you tour this spectacular wonderland via the 52-mile Going to the Sun Highway. (BLD) Day 6: Coeur d'Alene, Idaho Spend the day looking for moose, bald eagles and other wildlife at the lakefront resort of Coeur dAlene. (BLD) Day 7: Columbia River Gorge, Oregon Marvel at the spectacular views as you travel through either Washingtons Cascade Mountains or the Columbia River Gorge, a spectacular 80-mile long river canyon that forms the boundary between Oregon and Washington. (BLD) Day 8: Mount Rainier National Park From the base of Mt Rainier, the third-largest mountain in the Lower 48 States, enjoy a coach ride to the Road to Paradise park before returning to the train and your farewell dinner on board. Day 1: Arrive Denver On arrival into Denver, board the train and enjoy your first dinner and night on board. (D) Overnight: Onboard Train Day 2: Colorado Rockies by Rail Relax and enjoy the spectacular Rocky Mountain scenery from the comfort of your cabin or the observation car as you pass through Fraser Valley, Glenwood Canyon and Grand Junction. (BLD) Day 3: Arches & Canyonlands National Parks Spend the day exploring the spectacular rock formations in these two awe-inspiring National Parks by coach, including Grandview Point and Balanced Rock, two of the most frequently-photographed spots. (BLD) Day 4: Salt Lake City Discover this Mormon city and surrounding mountain communities before returning to the train for a trip through
the Great Salt Lake desert en-route to the jumping off point for Lake Tahoe - Reno. (BLD) Day 5: Lake Tahoe & Sierra Nevada Mountains Head for spectacular Lake Tahoe, the eighth deepest in the world, for a day of touring including a boat cruise providing the perfect vantage point for taking in the picturesque surrounding mountains. Return to the train for a spectacular ride through the Sierras. (BLD) Day 6: Napa Valley Wine Country Enjoy a fabulous lunch in the heart of the Napa wine country at Merryvale Winery. Your three-course lunch is paired with some of Merryvales best wines. Spend the afternoon visiting Copia, the American Centre for Wine, Food and the Arts. Your tour will include a lecture from a local sommelier or chef. Your farewell dinner is served on board the train later this evening. (BLD) Day 7: Depart Oakland (near San Francisco) On arrival into Oakland, continue on to San Francisco to extend your stay or the airport for your flight home. (B)
